Sublime Text is wonderful source code editor I have been using for years.There are many source code editors are available for you today such as ,
- Notepad ++
- Text Wrangler
- jedit
- atom
- etc.
But the graphical user interface of some of them look like a old classic touch and some of them are really disgusting to look for a long time.Since the source code editing software need to be opened for a long time and works with it , they must be of a bit darkened background and also the code we are typing in it must be shown in the screen with non vibrant colours and it must be matched with the background of the editor.Also the font size of the code appearing the screen must be in a range that we can read easily with our eyes.
- So Sublime Text have a really beautiful and simple design and we can works with it for a long time without any strain for the eyes compared to other source code editors.
In the list above , I also like atom source code editor , but the size of the software is about 100mb for Windows OS. Compared to the 8 mb size of Sublime Text , it is little more heavy software.Also we need to open and close the source code editor continuasly when devoloping something.So the system needs to handle the size of Atom editor.But , if your system have a good processor and RAM , its not a disadvantage.
